APPLICATION FOR ALL FLIGHT TESTS. This 8710-1 Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application must be filled out and submitted online via the IACRA system prior to this Examiner’s arrival. Failure to do so WILL cause a severe delay and often prevents the the flight test from taking place on the scheduled day at all. Paper copies are not accepted unless there is a bona fide reason that prevents the application from being processed online. The example below is for an Instrument Flight Test in a Multiengine airplane (AMEL) but this format is applicable to all flight tests
